Transit of Venus

The thing that is getting me most excited about today, is the fact that Lost is on tonight!  I know, I’m a sad pathetic excuse for a human being, you’re all sick of Lost etc.  But I don’t care, I’m still excited and I’m damn well gonna watch it and enjoy it!

Second exciting thing (and I’m a horrible person for putting this second, but it’s just that it’s still a few days away…), my friend Michelle is getting married on the weekend!  I get to be a bridesmaid, we’re gonna have a jam at the reception, there will be cake and rockin good times.

I’ve written a couple of new song’s since I got back.  One is very silly and I managed to rhyme ’send it to me’ with ‘lost property’.  It probably won’t see the light of day but will provide me with quiet entertainment when I’m playing guitar by myself at home.

I’m also also very excited about playing some live gigs in the hopefully not too distant future.  Have managed to squeeze in one practice with most of a band, probably need another couple of run throughs with a drummer in attendance.
